Saying that Janet’s campaign has been “embarassingly short on substance”. OK, I’ve been at forums and listened to her at fundraisers and watched her on video in the one televised debate with Sen. Cuccinelli.

I’ll give it to ’em–she ain’t slick. But the characterization of her and her campaign was uncalled for.

Frankly, it was nothing but the echoing of some nasty stereotypes about Janet that Cuccinelli’s henchmen have been spreading on the blogs, namely NLS, for weeks (that she’s an “empty suit” and that she’s got no ideas, no specifics, etc.).

I think the Post should be ashamed.
