So “politics is show business for ugly people” and “‘state politics is show business for really ugly people?’ Having spent a lot of time at our state capitol I’d say that it’s denizens are at least as attractive as Congress:-)
Having spent a fair amount of time in both places, I’d call that damning with faint praise.
